Yisroel Dov “YD” has been part of Yachad Summer since 2014! Over the years, he’s worked with NJ Yachad and the NY Yachad team, first as Rayim Program Director and later as a Shabbaton Support Specialist. In these roles, YD collaborated with program directors, coordinators, advisors, and Yachad members to help make each program run smoothly.

YD earned his PhD in clinical psychology from Hofstra University and is the founder of Choice Point Psychology, where he works with adolescents and adults dealing with intrusive thoughts, constant worry, panic, feeling stuck, burnout, and stress related to work, school, and relationships. He lives in Edison, NJ with his family. When he’s not working, YD can usually be found spending time with his family, experimenting with cholent recipes, or practicing yoga.
