Still feeling the ruach of our amazing Shabbat in Arad, we woke up this morning excited for a jam packed day. To begin our fun in the Negev, we rode the cable car up Masada, while taking in the beautiful views of the mountain. After exploring the palaces of Masada, we headed back down for lunch and a nice ice cream break before cooling off at the pool of Einot Tzukim. Finally, we arrived at the Bedouin camp, where we rode camels and were welcomed to the Bedouin hospitality by natives. They gave us the full experience by serving us dinner on the ground, instead of sitting at tables. Later, our Israeli staff gave us a taste of what it would be like to be a soldier in the IDF with an awesome army night activity. Last, sitting around a bonfire, we enjoyed a meaningful slow shira full of personal reflections on the summer. We ended the night by sleeping under the stars in the tents, which completed our Bedouin experience. We can’t wait to have Eilat of fun tomorrow!!!
