Today was the big day. After our early wake up at 6:30AM, with our heads held high; bright eyed and bushy tailed, we concluded our stay at Nir Etzion and loaded the case and ourselves onto the buses.
Repelling, archery and zip-lining, was our first activity on the rigorous itinerary. The heat would not dampen our spirits, even while plummeting 150 feet through humid conditions.
Next was the moment that trip 1 had been so eagerly awaiting. After two hours of rolling through the terrains of the holy land, we emerged into the historic Yerushalayim playing and dancing to our lit acapella music.
We davened mincha over looking the old city and the outskirts of the city, and following we made our final stop of the day – Ramat Rachel. After an exhilarating night activity, ‘getting to know our friends’ we are grateful for our head to head the pillow.
