Following the standard morning procedure, we headed onto the buses for Groovsters tie-dying, welcomed by an Atlantic City born woman who made Aliyah 18 years ago. We used an array of colors and can’t wait to see the finished products on our new YBY shirts  in a few days.

After tie dying, we headed to park Kastirin, where we had a pre-Shabbos session of music with traditional style drums – we also made clay candlestick holders and classic Israeli pitas.

Succeeding Katsirin we did a pre-Shabbos shop where we stocked up on necessary items – snacks. We are all looking forward to our first Shabbos as Yad B’Yad in the holy land.
