We started of the day saying goodbye to our much beloved hotel Ramat Rachel. With a great day ahead, we could not wait to get started. We packed up the buses and headed towards Jerusalem’s Biblical Zoo, which trip 1 seemed to enjoy- even though we had never heard of half the animals.

Following the zoo, we ate lunch and boarded the buses headed for Arad, our destination for Shabbos. After the two hour bus drive we were very eager to unpack and get settled in. With Chassidic themed Friday night, after dinner we enjoyed a chassidic style tisch where new niggunim and songs were learned.

The theme for the day was bar/ bat mitzvah, which fitted in really well for our night activity; a bar/ bat mitzvah party. With music, simcha dancing and a photo booth, we all ended the night on a high. We’ll be packing out tomorrow and heading for the Bedouin tent, a night that we all are looking forward to!
