Well hey there YBY Trip 1ers!! I’m Tamar Nissel (i interchangeable with y), writing from my hometown of Teaneck, NJ 07666. I am a proud Ma’ayanot graduate, as I left my mark on the school by becoming a 3-time champ in the annual Purim costume contest. So, get ready for some good shtick. My most notable costume was when I dressed as a shower, but I am looking to top that this summer. I then continued on to MMY for a year and a half where I mastered the unique skill of speaking in an Israeli accent (or French according to Israeli bus drivers). I now spend my days studying psychology and education in Stern College for Women as I count down until the summer. I’ve spent the past 5 summers with Yachad (shoutout to YBY 2014 and 2018!), and I’m pumped for my 6th, this time on YBY 2019 BEH! Here are some crucial things you should know before we begin our adventures together: I can down a pint of ice cream anytime, anywhere, I can wag my tongue like a dog, I play the ukulele, and for a long time back in my youth I was called Taco. My favorite place is Eretz Yisrael and I’m PUMPED to be there with all of you this summer!
