My name is Rachel Mendelson and I am so excited to be spending the summer with all of you as the Program Director of Yad B’Yad Trip 1! I have been involved in Yachad ever since I was a participant on Yad B’Yad after finishing 10th grade. I have most recently been involved organizing the marathons and before that shabbatonim. I was the Program Director for YBY Trip 2 last summer and previously at Nesher Yachad. I grew up in Teaneck, NJ and went to Ma’ayanot for High School. I spent a year learning in Tiferet and then made my way to Stern College where I studied education. I am currently studying in Wurzweiler School of Social Work to obtain my MSW while I am also fortunate enough to work for Yachad full time! I am the oldest of 5 kids, love traveling to Israel and playing board games! I am thrilled to be spending the summer with each of you while we get to learn, grow, have fun and experience Yad B’Yad, together!
