Shalom to the most awesome individuals!!! You may be asking- how does she know that I’m awesome? Well, isn’t it implied? Plus, I’m getting great vibes! Here’s a little bit of my background before delving into my shenanigans. I grew up in Woodmere, New York, and attended SKA for high school. I then went on to spend an amazing, fun, and growth-filled gap year at Shaalvim for Women in the holy land of Israel. I am currently a graduating Senior at Stern College, studying Psychology and Public Health, and slowly getting ready to take on the “real world”. This will be my third summer staffing Yad B’Yad and I’m super pumped for each of you to experience those wonderful moments that you can only get on a program like this! Now, here are some things you should definitely know about me: Exclamation points are a necessity!!! I always carry an extra in my back pocket just in case my excitement isn’t apparent enough! You can usually find me sporting my jammy pack and Tevas- you gotta be prepared for those ruach-filled water adventures! I will never pass up the offer for a kumzitz, especially if it’s Eitan Katz or Zusha inspired. I, along with three of my awesome and talented brothers, recently started a band called Kiki and The Boys, and got to perform at my brother’s wedding this past October. Ten points to whoever can guess my recently learned instrument (you may even get a sneak peek during the summer ?)! My spirit animal is a panda, I religiously live by inspirational quotes, and if Golda Meir was alive now, I think we’d be best friends. I was definitely a Chassid or someone of the sort in my previous life based off of my deep love for chulent, hitbodidut, and Shabbat zmirot. But most importantly, I am so excited to get to know, learn from, and grow with each of you in my favorite place in the world, and I am counting down the days to what is going to be an experience of a lifetime!
