Hey YBY 2019!!!!! Joe Amster here! I am beyond excited for this coming summer but before we get there, there are a few things you should probably know about me. I am from the great township of West Orange, NJ (the birthplace of Grover Cleveland, former President of the United States) and attended Kushner for a total of 14 years! After that I spent 2 years in the Holy Land at Yeshivat Lev Hatorah and now attend YU. Ever since going on YBY in 2015 I spent every summer with Yachad either at Nesher or at Yachad Getaway, but have secretly been waiting for the summer I got to come back to YBY!  Some other, potentially more important facts about me: I’m really into everything having to do with nature (especially nature documentaries but especially not spiders), one time I got my face stuck to a couch (ask me about it, it’s a great story), I wear crocs often (and almost exclusively WITH socks), I can do a cartwheel, I’ve long ago lost track of how many times I’ve read Harry Potter, I’m fluent in Friends and Spongebob, and have never eaten a strawberry, mango, peach, jelly, plum, and only had soup and hamburgers for the first time this year! Can’t wait to meet all you this summer!!!!!!!
