Hi! It’s Aviva and Ezra! We just had the best Shabbat of our lives at the Powell House. We came together as one trip on Friday and met with lots of singing and dancing. After that we all got ready and started off Shabbat with lots of ruach and a beautiful outdoor davening. We had a “New Beginnings” themed dinner to kick off our journey together. We spent the rest of Shabbat singing, playing games, getting to know each other, and listening to inspirational Divrei Torah. Following Havdala, we were up to 1:00 am playing “Panoply” and having a rockin’ dance party. Turn down for what! We had lots of fun together and really grew as a group. Ron announced that due to the situation in Israel we would be spending the next week in upstate New York. We hope everything clears up in Israel, but we are positive that we’ll have a great time with each other this summer no matter what. Our hearts, minds, and prayers go out to our brothers and sisters in Israel.
