Dear Interested Readers,
Today on Yad B’Yad we had a great day! First, the two groups switched off between a learning program and assisting people who are blind and deaf in a factory/warehouse. The learning program consisted of poems and stories about gratitude, and we listed some things we are grateful for. In the factory, we watched an introduction video, got to meet some of the worker, and helped create different parts of electrical equipment. The groups then came together for a delicious lunch of bagels and muffins from Holy Bagel. After lunch we split up again to the beach and a cool mural painting activity with artist Rami Meiri. At the beach, we climbed on a climbing structure and then headed to the beach to hang out and get our clothing wet. Then, some of us played football and other fun games on the beach. We also listened to music and hung out by the water! After some ice cream we walked to Rami Meiri’s studio/garden to hear how he creates his murals. Then we got to give it a try! We wrote all over the walls and made a big Yad B’Yad mural and took lots of pictures! We really had a blast! After painting, we went back to Ramat Rachel for dinner. There we ate and had a great time hanging out all night! Until next time 🙂
