Yom Chanich was so much fun!! Yom Chanich is the counselor’s day off and the participants get to run the entire day!!! Some participants got special jobs such as being the director, head counselors, making sure everyone is drinking enough, specialty diets, specialty programs, and sunscreen. I got to be Racheili Samuels the girls head counselor for the day!!! This year’s Yom Chanich theme was color war!! Blue vs. Orange!! Blue took the day!!!! We had relay races, cooking competitions, water fights, stomp, art presentations, sang songs and cheered. It was so much fun!!!!! I had so much fun being head staff for the day!!! It was amazing seeing everyone enjoy the day so much!!! The “staff” worked so hard and made it a really fun day!! But that wasn’t all the fun for the day. That night we had visitor’s night. A lot of people had family or friends visit. The participants who were not able to have family or friends visit got too have an awesome fun trip to the mall!! All together it was an awesome day!!
