Today was another amazing day on Yad B’Yad. After a bright and early 7:30 am wake up, everyone congregated in the shul. After a Rosh Chodesh Shacharit, we all hungrily made our way to breakfast. We then packed lunch for later and departed on the busses and headed to the Vegas Strip for the day. Danielle introduced “the thank you challenge”. Each group throughout the day would tally up the amount of “thank you’s” they received. This encouraged each participant to enjoy their day while also complimenting and uplifting others. After a long day on the strip which featured seeing the Bellagio Water Fountain Show, embarking on the CSI experience, the Hershey store, and many other beautiful hotels and fun experiences, we returned to the busses and headed back to the Westin. At the Westin, we split into our learning groups and began a discussion connecting us to the situation in Israel. We then enjoyed some free time in the hotel to have fun with all our friends and headed to bed to rest up for the day to come!
