July 21, 2016: Factory, Row Boating, and Yom NCSY!

Thursday morning we were up bright and early so we could get a head start on our jam packed fun filled day. After davening and breakfast we piled onto the busses and headed to a factory where all the employees have visual impairments. There we assisted the workers with their jobs. It was really amazing to see that people who are blind hold such valuable jobs and have systems to make themselves efficient at it. After lunch and amazing, eye opening learning groups we got back on the busses and went to a park to go paddle boating on a beautiful lake. After boating we drove to the mall in tel aviv  to change into our Yom NCSY shirts. With our shirts on we felt even more excited and pumped for Yom NCSY. We were going to show them what it means to be on Yad B’Yad. That night we sang, dance, went crazy and showed every other program how special Yad B’Yad is. That night will be in all of our memories forever and it definitely was one of our highlights of our trip!
