We started off today with another beautiful davening and delicious breakfast. Then we got on the busses and headed off to a great day of cliff side activities. Everyone had the chance to go zip lining, repelling, and go to the shooting range. At the shooting range we had the chance to learn to use a bow and arrow as well as an air soft gun. Lots of people had competitions and made games with the archery and shooting. Some people thought they could challenge Buch, but they were quickly taught their lesson! We saw a lot of fears being faced and conquered as the participants risked their lives walking down cliffs as well as jumping off. It was very inspirational to watch each other face our fears together. We couldn’t have done it without each other! Watching the participants who use wheelchairs have the chance to enjoy zip-lining was absolutely incredible. You will not see anything like that anywhere outside of YBY. This experience taught me to be extra grateful for my abilities to do it on my own. We had a long drive back and stopped to buy food such as lots of ice cream and cold drinks after a long day in the sun. Then we headed back to the hotel to shower. We got into our learning groups and had a very meaningful lesson on living in the moment and not focusing so much on the past and future. Night activity had everyone on their chairs screaming and cheering as we watched the counsellors have their own mini color war. They were forced to face crazy challenges where we decided who would do which challenge. It was hilarious to see the counselors we respect so much make fools of themselves at least for one night.
Peace out from Nir Etzion! Can’t wait for Jlem!

Learning the Ropes
On our last day in the Golan Heights, we went to a rocky mountain top. There we had 3 different activities going on. We were either repelling down a mountain top, going on a zip line, or were at a shooting range. At the range we began as Robin Hood shooting arrows. After being Robin Hood for 20 minutes we went about 800 years back and were shooting air-soft guns. Next, we moved on to zip lining. On the zip line in order for Tzvi to get a chance to go on his wheelchair had to be at the bottom. When the wheelchair reached the bottom people thought that Tzvi fell out. Everyone was freaking out until he came down the zipline.
When repelling some people had gotten over their fear of heights. I was told by my instructor that I am doing too well. So I responded by screaming.
This was by far a ROCKing day on our trip.
