Hey guys! Gila and Ahuva here. Today was such a fun filled day! Our morning erupted with excitement when we began our day with an early visit to Har Ben Tal, an extinct volcano that was used as an IDF/Tzahal lookout during the six day war. Our tour guide Gila presented us with a demonstration on how volcanoes work using all different kinds of shokolad (our word of the day today! It means chocolate). Then on the bus ride, bus one had a lip syncing competition. We had stellar performances from both Zachs, Elisheva, Tomer, and our winner joe amster/ the jamster with his fantastic Kelly Clarkson rendition. After that, we were off to de Karina chocolate factory where we decorated our own chocolate bars for Shabbat and saw how chocolate is made. We then went on a jeep tour through the Galil where we listened to lots of music, ate delicious watermelon and saw beautiful scenery. Afterwards, we became yacht b’yacht b’yachad and went sailing on the Kineret where we had a fantabulous dance party in which EVERYBODY showed their wild side. We ate dinner overlooking the kineret and got to enjoy all the wonderful tastes of Tiberias. We then returned to Chispin, and even though we were drained of energy from a jelly packed day, we played intense rounds of basketball and lineup. Can’t wait for a beautiful Shabbat here in Chispin and looking forward to our upcoming week in Ein Hod (south of Chaifa)!!
