July 14, 2015: Raft Building, Kinneret, and Donkey Riding
Hey everyone!
Yad B’Yad has gotten off to a really great start this summer. First we made our way to raft building on the Kinneret. This was an amazing team building experience where eve11222505_849966568414064_7824142878674671528_oryone worked together to securely build their own rafts. There were seven different teams and each one came up with their own unique cheer to help built their team spirit. After floating on the rafts that each team built, we had the opportunity to cool off in the beautiful water of the Kinneret, followed by lunch overlooking the water. Our next stop was to an ancient village where we recreated the experiences of the Jewish people from the times of the Mishna. We rode donkeys, made our very own pita bread, and then ate the pita while wearing ancient clothes while sitting on the floor just like they did in the good old days. It was another packed day in the adventures of YBY trip one 2015. We are very excited about what is to come next. Peace out!
Yours truly,
Tzvi Burston

When we got to Israel we were finally home!!! I had so much fun on the rafts in the Kinneret, and I also made lots of new friends there. The donkey riding was really nice and I named my donkey Sarah. Thedinner after the donkey riding was amazing. When we got back we wished Buch a mazel tov on his completion of his army service. I am so happy to go back out again tomorrow. Have a nice summer!
Love,
