Day Twenty Six: Tuesday, August 6th: Dialogue in the Dark, Invitation to Silence, and Beit Issie Shapiro!

On Tuesday, we started off by going to Dialogue in the Dark and Invitation to Silence. We got to experience a taste of what life is like for people who are blind and people who are deaf. After that, we went to a small park to have a delicious lunch of bagels and cream cheese or tuna and other toppings. After that, we went to Beit Issie Shapiro Park and listened to a speaker who told us about the history and background of the park. After that, Rachel gave us plenty of time to walk around and go on the different accessible swings and attractions at the park. It was really fun! Then we went back to the hotel for dinner and then we had an awesome night activity by Adam Auerbach, which was called See, Run, Build. Then we had maariv and time to chill with our friends and then my most favorite time of day – CURFEW!!! We went layla tov and started to prepare for the next day which would be even better!
