Working at Shekem
Shekem is up and running and that is a HUGE thanks to Yachad. Our Vocational members together with their Job coaches are filling out the Shekem orders, giving out Shekem and keeping the fridge stocked. Yachad felt right at home!
Strawberry Picking
We joined Eidah Aleph this past Friday on a strawberry picking trip. We had so much fun cheering on the bus and picking beautiful and yummy strawberries!
Shabbat
Shabbat in camp was both AMAZING and uplifting. We enjoyed- Mifkad, Kabalat Shabbat, Eidah Daled Tisch, Tzevet Tisch, Slow Shira and more.
Monday Outing
On Monday we joined Mach-Hach on an outing to Peterborough. We did some shopping at Walmart and enjoyed sitting and drinking coffee at Timmy’s.
Night activities
We had a blast at the opening Night Tochnit which included a scavenger hunt and fireworks. We also joined Eidah Bet 2’s dance party and fashion show. We helped Eidah Aleph do a Frozen themed scavenger hunt and we spent an evening in the new game room (Moadon Chanichim).

Josh- Dance party with Eidah Bet 2 and Dancersize.
Elay- Strawberry picking and the Game room.
Coby- Chavrutah and Staff Tisch.
Morel- Timmy’s coffee chill and Kabalat Shabbat.
Sheva- Teva and Shekem.
Carolyn- Daled Tisch and Coffee at Timmy’s.
Rosie- Shekem and Strawberry picking.
Talya- Coke at Shekem and opening Night Tochnit.
Rikki- Havdalah and the rabbit run.
A few words from Coby Van- Houter:
This week I started a Chavrutah with Gabe Aaron and
Eliav Saban who are Chanichim in Mach-Hach. This
will be my third summer working in camp and my third
summer learning with them. This Chavrutah is the
highlight of my week. We learn Tanah. I enjoy the
intellectual conversations that we have.
We are looking forward to having another fun and
exciting week at camp Moshava. Everyone is so
happy to be here and we are truly having a blast!
