| We Had An Incredible Week!!! |

 

Wow!! It is hard to believe that we are finishing our third
week in camp. Each week has been filled with so many
fun and new opportunities. This week our Vocational
members started working individually around camp. They
worked in the Gan, Chadar Ochel and at Shekem. We
also took on some projects around camp. We made
Besamim bags for Havdallah and sorted the laundry bags.
We are always there to lend a helping hang. It is
amazing to see Yachad’s positive presence around camp.

Lakers Game
We joined the camp wide
trip to the Peterborough
Lakers game. First we had
a picnic in a nearby park
and then we went to the
stadium. We watched the
game but mainly
cheered. It was so much
fun!!

 

Mini Golf
We joined Mach Hach on
a night Mini Golf trip. We
also did some paintball
target shooting. It was
really nice having a night
out. We love spending
time with Mach Hach.

 

Shabbat
Shabbat in camp was
special and relaxing. We
had a blast at the Tzevet
Tisch! On shabbat
afternoon we sat together
and went over our
favorite parts of Pirke
Avot. We also enjoyed a
very meaningful slow
Shira. There is nothing
quite like shabbat in
camp.

 

Visiting Day
Visiting day was so nice. We
enjoyed meeting all of the
parents and showing them
around camp. Camp was
filled with such a positive
energy. After the parents
left we watched an
outstanding magic show.

 

MBT Yachad Visit
Moshava Bair Toronto
Yachad joined us for a day
packed with fun. We were
thrilled to have guests. We
went to the Agam, Teva,
Ropes and gave them
Shekem. It was so nice
being able to share
experiences. Both
programs are adding so
much to the camps they are
working in. Thank you
Yachad MBT for coming!

 

A few words Carolyn Fingold:
Peterborough Lakers game-
Every year the whole camp goes to the Peterborough Lakers
game. I dressed in the Lakers colors- Red and Blue and put
face paint on. We had a picnic in a park near the stadium.
We ate sandwiches. At the game we watched and cheered a
lot for the Lakers. It was a really fun night!!
P.S. The Lakers won!!

Coby- Lakers game and Mini golf with Mach Hach
Morel- Afiah (baking) and Mini golf with Mach Hach.
Ariella- Shabbat and Lip Sync with Eidah Bet 2.
Carolyn- MBT Yachad’s visit and the Lakers game.
Rosie- Working at Shekem and Afiah (baking).
Talya- Her birthday celebrations and Challah baking.
Rikki- Magic show Night Tochnit and Agam (lake).
