Dear Morasha Yachad Families,

It’s hard to believe that three weeks already went by! The vocational program began the week by joining their friends from Mesorah and Lavi on a vocational trip to Lake Como Pizza and ice cream. Sunday night we all marched in the Olympic Torch ceremony beginning the fierce two-day (Monday and Tuesday) Olympics competition. We were divided into four teams; South Africa, Fiji, Switzerland and Ireland. We all had fun participating in Olympic sporting events such as marathons, triathlons, newcomb and line-up. Congratulations to all the medalists!

We had a great time going on a night trip Wednesday night to a drive in movie theatre where we watched Inside Out. Thursday was a day to remember – we all went on helicopter rides hovering over the mountains and seeing an aerial view of camp. It was awesome!! Later that night we joined the Younger Shtili division for a great game of dodge-ball. Finally, later that night we enjoyed our second mishmar of the summer where we were surprised with hot snacks from the canteen as we learned Torah bi’yachad. What a week! Can’t wait to see what’s in store for next week!
