Morasha Yachad Week 4
Morasha Yachad Week 4

Dear Morasha Yachad Families,

What a week!! We began on Sunday with visiting day where many of our campers and vocational members spent the day together with family and friends. That night, after dinner, we had a fun and meaningful army night led by our Israeli mishlachat team where we got a taste of what army training is like. On Monday the boys and the girls split up; the boys got a basic training in medical clowning where they enjoyed making dogs, swords and hats out of balloons, while the girls enjoyed a day of camper vs. staff competitions including soccer, line-up and wacky races. Tuesday was Yom Yisrael in camp where the camp became a mini Israel allowing us to learn about Israeli culture – there was an Israeli shuk (market), there were donkeys walking around, Israeli food all over camp and many interesting sessions teaching us about different aspects of Israeli life. Then we had two back to back trips! Wednesday we all went to Camp Mesorah to participate in an awesome Yachad color run – it was so fun! Thursday the camper and vocational programs split up. The campers enjoyed a great game of bowling followed by make-your-own-pizza, while the vocational members went to camp Lavi where they met the other vocational programs from Moshava and Mesorah and had an intense day of Yachad vocational intercamps! A great time was had by all! That night, there was a camp-wide Stomp competition, division vs division. We had a great time performing and listening to the other performances. What a week! Can’t wait to see what’s in store for next week!

Looking forward to another fun, exciting and gainful week at Morasha Yachad!
