Morasha Yachad Voc - Week 4
Morasha Yachad Voc - Week 4

Dear Morasha Yachad Families and Friends,

Did we really hit the four week mark already??? In addition to all of our exciting regular-schedule activities, this week we had several stand out night activities and camp-wide programs that were so much fun. We started off the week on a serious note as we fasted and learned about the significance of the Beit Hamikdash on Shiva Assur BiTammuz (really the 18th of Tammuz). On Monday, we celebrated Yom Yisrael in camp where we learned about Israeli history and culture. Later that day we joined the entire camp on a trip to a huge outdoor drive in movie theatre where we watched Finding Dorry – it was awesome! Tuesday morning was one of the most memorable experiences yet – we went to the top of boys’ campus where we were met by a helicopter and each of us got to take a ride in the sky giving us an aerial view of camp. That night we lined the hockey courts, hand in hand, for a hilarious game of human foosball. Wednesday day was a bittersweet day as we bid fair-well to our friends who left after first session and welcomed our other friends who joined us for second session. That night was the camp-wide glow in the dark stomp competition. We joined the Nitzi and Younger Shtili divisions in creating an awesome symphony of rhythms and beats as we wore glow sticks in the dark. On Thursday the Yachad boys joined the YSB’s for an incredible pool party while the girls joined the OSG in decorating headbands together. Late Thursday night, Shoshanim Yachad joined our vocational program and together enjoyed the weekly mishmar program with great Torah and food. As we remember and review the great memories of this past week, we excitedly look forward to another relaxing Shabbos here in camp B’Yachad. Have a great Shabbos!
