Gesher Yachad

Gesher Yachad provides inclusive social, recreational, and educational programs for people with disabilities ages 27-35.

Gesher members enjoy Shabbatons (weekend retreats, where our participants stay in community members’ homes) every month with colleges. Gesher members also enjoy a wide range of activities including Sunday programs, outings to baseball games, BBQs, and plays. Gesher Yachad has on average 1-2 Shabbatons per month, and events with local schools and communities.

This inclusive environment is what makes all of our programs so unique. Whether it’s meeting new people at a Shabbaton or participating in a community wide sports day to raise money for Israel. Through Senior Yachad, members enjoy the opportunity to learn, grow and have fun, all at the same time.

There are local chapters in Brooklyn, Queens, Long Island, Monsey, and New Jersey.
