What a jam packed last week of first session we’ve had! We started off the week
with boating trips filled with bbq, dancing and of course…boating! We then put on our camp
shirts and got ready for a camp wide trip. After sitting on the soccer field for hours we
thought for sure the trip was canceled. Then Jon, the head of trips, told us we would all
take cars to the trip. We were all very confused! Suddenly Jon was yelling on the
microphone and then……IT WAS COLOR WAR!!!!!We had an amazing color war! The red and
blue teams enjoyed some great competition and ruach. We all had so much fun playing
sports, making banners, stomps and songs and competing in the camp wide apache race!
On Friday, we had our last special event of the summer-and of course, it was Israel
themed. We enjoyed a beautiful daglanut (dance with Israeli flags) put on by Eidah Bet.
We also had a special ceremony for all of our staff members who are moving to Israel or
joining the army this year.
We are looking forward to our last Shabbat together in camp!

 

Eidah Aleph : Eidah Aleph had a crazy fun week in camp! At the beginning of the week we
were joined by our Mini Mosh friends for four amazing days. We went on a fun boating
trip. We went jet skiing, kayaking and danced to our favorite camp songs. The fun didn’t
end after the sun went down. We had some amazing night tochnits this week. We had a
really fun time singing karaoke together. It was so much fun singing our favorite Disney
songs from High School Musical, Beauty and the Beast and more! We were all really
surprised when color war broke out! We had so much fun playing sports and participating in
stomp and our team songs. We had a great last week of first session! We are sad to say
goodbye to all of our new friends!

 

Eidah Bet: B-E-T Better Better BET is BETTER! We had a fantastic last week of camp!
We started off our week with a fun boating trip. We had delicious bbq, went jet skiing and
kayaking and hung out as an Eidah. We also had some amazing night tochnits this week. We
all put our PJ’s on and had a fun time doing face paint, taking pictures in a photo booth and
playing with our good friend Polly the Pinata. It was so much fun to break Polly open and
get some yummy treats! We were so excited when color war broke out! We had so much
fun the past two days, competing in sports, having silent lunch and making cheers for our
teams. On Friday, we put on an awesome daglanut for the whole camp. It made us feel really

special to perform for the whole camp! We are sad that it is our last Shabbat in
camp together but excited to see what the last two days of camp has in store!

 

Eidah Gimmel: What a fun week we had in camp! We started off the week being the only
Eidah left in camp! It was so much fun to have all the activities to ourselves. We really felt
like we owned the camp. After ruling the camp, we decided to take a break from our
regularly scheduled activities and go on an amazing boating trip! We had a blast!! We really
thought we were going on a camp wide trip this week. We were so surprised when we found
out it was all a trick and it was color war! But don’t worry-color war was even more fun! We
loved helping out with banner, singing our team song and cheering till we couldn’t scream
anymore! After a crazy two days we are looking forward to a relaxing last Shabbat in camp
together.

 

As we end our first session in camp, we are sad to say goodbye to all the amazing
friends we made. We are all so proud of ourselves for all the growth, fun and the
friendships we have made this summer! We are sad to be leaving. To those of us
that are leaving this weekend we can’t wait to keep in touch and see each other
next summer! For those of us staying, we will miss our friends but can’t wait to see
what next session has in store for us!
