What a jam packed third week of camp we had! This week was filled with non stop
activities every second. We had special trips, horseback riding, an awesome concert with
Yehuda Katz and more!. We spent our fast day, Shivasar B’Tamuz, learning about different
chesed organizations in Yerushalayim. On Friday we ran the “Jerusalem Marathon” to
support the organization we learned about. It was a fantastic and fun week, we can’t wait
for another amazing Shabbat in camp!

 

Eidah Aleph : We had a lot of fun horsing around this week!-literally! We went horseback
riding this week! We all had such a great time on our 2 hour adventure with our new four
legged friends. On Sunday we had a great concert where we got to dance, sing and wear
awesome glow in the dark bracelets. We spent our fast day learning about Yad Sarah-an
organization that helps people who need medical supplies. We made an awesome video to
show the camp. On Friday we put on our running shoes and ran the Jerusalem Marathon! It
was long and hard but we had so much fun along the way. After our run, we are looking
forward to a fun and relaxing Shabbat!

 

Eidah Bet: Eidah Bet’s week was the BEST! We started off the week with a super fun
concert with Yehuda Katz. We had so much dancing together, on the ground and on our
counselor’s shoulders. After all that dancing you’d think we would be all tired out…NOPE!
The fun was just getting started! This week we went horseback riding! We loved getting to
know all the horses names and personalities. On Shivasar B’Tamuz we learned about Yad
Sarah and Yad Eliezer. We really enjoyed getting to learn about all the amazing cheseds in
Yerushalayim. On Thursday we got a special treat…we went on a trip to the park! All week
we searched for our Rosh Eidah’s Pinata, Polly, who ran away. After days of searching we
finally found her…in the park! We were so happy to be reunited! We can’t wait for another
fun Shabbat together!

 

Eidah Gimmel: We had a fun filled week this week! We started off our week with an
awesome trip to an amusement park! Even though it was hot, we still had so much fun going
on all the rides and winning games in the arcade. After a meaningful fast day, filled with
learning about Israeli Chesed organizations and Yerushalayim, we laced up our sneakers and
ran the Jerusalem Marathon! It was a lot of fun! Our Eidah won the contest for getting quiet

the quickest in the Chadar Ochel this week. As our prize we got to go and get
slurpees! It was the perfect way to cool down and end a fantastic week in camp. We can’t
wait for another great Shabbat in camp.
