We had such a great second week of camp! Everyone got to enjoy some quality time outside of camp this week! All the campers went on an overnight, and our vocational program went on a few trips too! We had a lot of throughout the days at all the exciting peulot we have in camp. The fun continued at night at our crazy night tochniot (activities)!
Eidah Aleph : We had a really awesome second week of camp! We had a lot of fun this week at some really exciting activities including horseback riding, pita baking at teva (nature) and learning how to make mosaics at melechet yad (art). One night, we had a huge birthday party for all the campers who had birthdays so far this summer! It was so much fun!! On Thursday, we went on a hike outside of camp, built our own tents and camped out! We made s’mores, sang by the bonfire and played lots of games. When we got back to camp today, the Eidah Daled campers planned a carnival for the rest of camp. We had a blast enjoying all the blow up toys and all the cool booths they made!
Eidah Bet: What a week we‛ve had! We‛ve had some great night tochniots this week including paint twister, glow in the dark dodgeball, and mystery envelope! On Wednesday we spent our day hiking and preparing a campsite for our overnight! We had a great time cooking food, making s‛mores and enjoying the bonfire. While we were sleeping some of our counselors played a little prank on us…they stole the poles from our tents! Don‛t worry we got them back! When we got back from the overnight, we got to enjoy some delicious ice cream and finally wash off all the “nature” that was on us! Today, the Running Springs fire department came to camp. We got to talk with some firefighters and had got hosed down by the giant fire hose! Afterward, we got to jump around on some moonbounces and go to an awesome carnival that Eidah Daled planned for the rest of camp!
Eidah Daled: We had an incredible and busy week! On Monday we went hiking, and got to spend the night camping! We cooked our own food in a Masterchef style competition, sang around the bonfire and the best part was getting to watch the 4th of July fireworks from the top of a mountain! We also had some great night activities this week including glow in the dark dodgeball, and a mystery envelope/minute to win it game. On Thursday, we spent the afternoon planning a Machane Yehuda themed carnival for the rest of camp. We made boothes like smoothies, hair braiding, balloon hats and face painting! All the campers really enjoyed it, and so did we! We can‛t wait for an awesome Friday night tisch with Eidah Gimmel!
We are so excited to see what the last week of first session has in store for us!
