Lavi Yachad Week 7!
Lavi Yachad Week 7!

What a week it has been! From color war to Hershey park, we did so much. There were a few things that stood out that really made this week special.

Yom Nate B’Yachad
On Sunday, we were very lucky to be part of a very special carnival. Every year, the Cohen family sponsors an event called Yom Nate B’Yachad, which they dedicate in honor of their son Nathaniel Cohen Z”L. This event was held at Camp Nesher. All the Yachad summer programs and the entire Camp Nesher participated in the festivities.
We were able to run two booths at the carnival. We had a face painting booth and we had a sponge toss, where people threw a wet sponge and tried to hit their friends in the faces. It was a lot of fun and we loved seeing all our friends from other camps.

Cup Cake Wars
On Tuesday night, we were surprised by some special guest from the Yachad office. Dr. Jeffrey Lichtman, Ken Saibel, and Dani Colat came and then judged our night activity. Ari Zucker and Stephanie Felder ran a boys vs girls cupcake wars. We were told to decorate according to the theme of “our favorite camp activity.” The girls picked the waterfront and the boys picked a sports theme. Thank you to Ari and Stephanie for an amazing night.
PS – It was a tie!
