Monday was a great day! The busses were greeted by the Camp Lavi mascot, a lion, who was none other than our very own Daniel!  We headed to the bunks and began to settle in! The next day we all started our jobs. We work in many different areas around camp such as setting up the dining room, sorting mail, working in day camp, the art room and much more. Everyone has been excited about beginning work and making new camp/work friends!

Throughout the week as a group we had some great activities. On Thursday we all went to paint ball. There we learned all the safety rules and were able to practice shooting at targets which was challenging and fun. Today, Friday, we baked cookies as a group for the Shabbat party we host for all the specialty staff in camp. This week in YACHAD we worked hard but found time to enjoy camp!
