Camp Chaverim 2017 - Week 1

OFF TO A GREAT START!
Our first week at Camp Chaverim has been nothing short of amazing. Everyone is settling in well and getting into a groove here. Activities have been super fun and night activities are always exciting, and this is just the start. We can’t wait to see what the rest of the summer has in store!

BOWLING!
To kick off our amazing trips of the summer, Camp Chaverim went bowling! Who knew we had so many super star bowlers here? Everyone had so much fun and we saw some awesome scores! Can’t forget to mention the cool lights and dancing that everyone enjoyed at the bowling alley.
Special mention to some of the campers who got a strike!

Division Head Talks
As my second year as a division head began, I looked forward with great anticipation to a wonderful summer. Helping my campers reach new heights is thrilling.
Night activities, ADL skills, school, swim, and activities bring broad smiles to their faces. This past Wednesday we went bowling.  Many campers got strikes and spares. However, what mattered most was the atmosphere filled with joy and excitement, the invigorating music, and sharing those moments with our dearest camp friends.
Even teaching the boys how to fold and put away their laundry is exciting. Each and every skill they learn makes them so happy and proud of their accomplishments.
Visiting day is approaching and the boys are looking forward to seeing their parents, as are we. The initial home sickness is gone and the boys are having a blast!
Looking forward to the rest of the summer,
Moshe Tabbouche
