Morasha Yachad Camper - Week 3
Morasha Yachad Camper - Week 3

Dear Morasha Yachad Families and Friends,
What an amazing third week of camp! In addition to all of our exciting regular-schedule activities, this week we had several stand out night activities and camp-wide programs that were so much fun. We started off the week seeing our family and friends on visiting day. That night we followed the traditional Morasha Olympic Torch ceremony that began the two day action-packed Olympic competition between our four teams; Canada, Brazil, Greece and India. We broke into teams and participated in sporting events, bucket brigades, races and more. Congratulations to everyone on team Canada for taking home the gold medals. On Monday night we had a Simcha Leiner concert for the Olympic half time show where we all had a great time singing and dancing. On Tuesday afternoon we took a short break from the Olympic competitions, went to our friends in Camp Mesorah and participated in a 5k run. Afterwards all of the Yachad programs that joined the event met in the canteen and hung out while enjoying post-race drinks and snacks. On Wednesday night, the girls played a great game of PANIC where they split into teams and were given time to dress up as a given theme. Whoever dressed up most accurately in the allotted time won a round. Boys enjoyed a beach volleyball tournament with the younger shtili boys and eating a BBQ. On Thursday night, the girls walked the ‘Red Carpet’ and watched the Morasha Grammy’s performance. The boys played PANIC and it was awesome! Late Thursday night, the Lavi vocational program joined our vocational program here in Morasha for a night of learning at our third mishmar of the summer. As we remember and review the great memories of this past week, we excitedly look forward to another relaxing Shabbos here in camp B’Yachad.
Have a great Shabbos!
