Yad B’Yad Girls creates an inclusive, supportive environment where every young woman belongs and feels part of something greater. Each girl is valued for who she is and appreciated for her unique contributions. The unity and sisterhood within the group are palpable, cultivating lifelong friendships. From participants to staff, our incredible group of young women becomes one family.
Adventure
From rappelling and jeeping to rafting and water sports to camel riding and Bedouin tents, each day is jam-packed with fun. Our engaging Israeli tour guides give us a taste of Israeli culture and help us connect with the people and places of Israel, past and present. The varied, action-packed itinerary empowers the girls to take on new challenges side-by-side, making exploring Israel with YBY Girls incredibly exciting, whether it is her first or tenth time visiting!
Leadership
Overcoming fears, running activities, and reaching out to others in new ways encourage our participants to step out of their comfort zones. YBY Girls empowers teens to push the limits of their potential in a strong, female-led environment. Each young woman becomes the best, most confident version of herself. After the summer, the impact continues as these powerful young leaders bring their skills and knowledge back to their local Yachad chapters, schools, and communities.
Inspiration
Torah learning and religious growth are paramount on YBY Girls. Staff-led learning programs, chaburahs, and shiurim by inspiring female educators and guest Rabbis are core components of the trip. We travel with our Bus Beis, packed with sefarim, facilitating independent and chevruta learning everywhere we go. Our unique volunteer opportunities and beautiful, uplifting Shabbatot bring even more meaning to the experience. On YBY Girls, Judaism comes alive, young women’s voices in Torah are amplified, and spirituality is ignited.
