To the time of fireflies:

 

you would not believe your eyes

if 4 whole weeks went by

on Yad B’Yad time really flies

 

we learned so much about how

to include everyone so now

nobody will ever feel left out

 

i’d like to make myself believe

that Yad B’Yad’s not over

it’s hard to say that we’re leaving all our friends that we made here

but we will stay a family all year

 

we started in highland park

we walked back in the dark

the first time we all met, it left a mark

 

on such an awesome program

we were in the holy land

we spent it all together hand in hand

 

i’d like to make myself believe

that Yad B’Yad’s not over

with great participants and staff

(don’t take me away from here)

no days went by without a laugh

memories we will all keep

especially the nights we got no sleep

 

to 85 fireflies

it’s sad cause we hate goodbyes

we’ll get teary eyes when we say farewell

 

we will always be there

no summer can compare

to the good times that we shared
