YBY2: July 30: Yom Hachanich & Visitors Night!!

Today was amazing! We had Yom Hachanich, where our counselors (besides the head staff and medic) left from after breakfast to before dinner and participants acted in their place. After we said goodbye to the staff, the new staff broke out color war between the blue and white teams! We then continued the jam packed day with different competitions prepared by each of the attendance groups. We played cut throat kitchen, where we watched our teams battle as they tried to create the best tasting foods in a matter of minutes. We also played other food related games, where people had to shove as many marshmallows in their mouths as they could. It was really funny to watch them attempt this! They also had to eat a whole watermelon with no hands, which got super messy and fun.

We ended the day with shaving cream twister and got super messy. Everyone was covered in colors from head to toe. Even though it was such a mess, it was a blast!

We finished the day by welcoming back our very much missed staff and preparing for visitors night/visit to the mall.

Overall, it was a really fun and exciting day. Can’t wait to see what the rest of the summer holds!
