Friday morning we woke up and loaded the buses with a record time of 29 minutes! We took a long bus ride to Mizpeh Ramon where we visited an Ilan Ramon memorial and saw a video of his story and an explanation of how the crater was formed. We had chicken sandwiches for lunch in a park, then went to a grocery store to stock up for Shabbos. We finally made it to the alpaca farm and met Alyssa/Fiona the llama. We fed the alpacas and took selfies with them, some of us even chased them (like Moshe R). We then went back to the hotel to get ready for a Shabbos themed Shabbos. We had a inspirational davening overlooking the gorgeous crater. We then had dinner and a fun circle time where we had a chance to see a super rare red moon! We then went to sleep to wake up to a great Shabbos day! After davening and kiddish, we had an awesome learning program led by Ariel Aminov about happiness. We then played “if you love YBY smile” until lunch. After lunch, we had another amazing circle time and menucha. During menucha, people hung out, ate snacks, hiked, learned, did hitbodedut and had Shabbos parties. Then we davened mincha and group 2 led a game of Human Guess Who. After shalashudis we had some slow shira singing followed by havdala. We then got into our funnest shtick for a night activity of YBY HQ led by Razel! We were given pizza for Melacha Malka and a late curfew. We’re looking forward to a fun day tomorrow!
