We’re finally here! Jerusalem!!! Today was such an incredible day. At 10:00 in the morning we left our hotel to go to the blind and deaf museum. Starting off the day with a three hour bus drive isn’t always fun, but getting Ben and Jerry’s at a gas station made up for it. At the blind museum, we learned how people who are blind live their lives day by day. Through an immersive, and interactive tour, our guides showed us how to distinguish between different scenes based on sound, touch, and smell. At the end we were able to buy snacks without seeing anything! Some participants also went to the invitation to silence exhibit, which gave them a glimpse into the lives of people who cannot hear. We all learned so many new effective ways to communicate by using all of our senses! After the museum we went on a long ride to Jerusalem. As we approached Jerusalem we heard accapella songs about the holy city we were approaching! It’s great to finally be here!! We didn’t do much here yet, but we’re looking forward to the days ahead in which we will get to know this holy city!

Ps: After Gush Etzion, we went shopping in a huge supermarket – don’t worry mom and dad, we’re all eating!
