Our day began with a loud wakeup from our fellow peers to start off our fun day of Yom Hachanich (where participants take charge for the day)! We had a nice davening and breakfast together and then we divided up into our 4 color war teams: sunscreen, hats, coolness, and water. We started our full day of fun with an activity called “panic” lead by Leah Wenger and Chaim Mordechai who were our attendance counselors for group 2. After that, we had a video star competition where we made cool videos about our themes. Shortly after the videos were over, we had a delicious lunch. When lunch was over, we had an amazing scavenger hunt lead by Rachel Gelb and Gavi Hershkop throughout the hotel. We then had a little nap time so we could be refreshed for our next activity, an apache race! After the race, we had a very wet water balloon bucket brigade challenge! Before mincha, the winners of Yom Hachanich color war were announced. Congrats Blue team! We then ended our awesome day with time to hang out with our visitors and go to the mall. Thank you to everyone who made today so great!
