Today we had a blast!! We woke up early this morning to daven right outside the tents where we slept and then we had an enjoyable Bedouin breakfast. Then we headed over to our next activity, camel riding. After watching a short safety video about camel riding and how it’s used in Bedouin culture we got to ride real live camels! We rode through the desert and enjoyed the beautiful scenery. After this we boarded the buses and headed to Masada. We took the cable car up to the top of the mountain where we had a tour given by our amazing Israeli staff. We learned about the history of Masada and it’s significance in Jewish history. We then had lunch at the Masada cafè and then took a short ride to the Dead Sea. At the Dead Sea we floated around and had a great time. After that, we boarded the buses and headed to our hotel Ramat Rachel in Jerusalem. There we davened mincha and then had an AMAZING dinner at the hotel. We then had time to settle into our rooms and get unpacked. Finally we had our night activity Ransom Make us Laugh! During this activity participants had to complete challenges in order to free their counselors. If they completed the challenge, they got to pie their counselors with whip cream!!
