Dear Families,

Today we started off packing the buses! Woohoo! It was a hot day in Eilat but we were excited to see what the day would bring. First we went to the aquarium. We saw all different types of sharks and lots of fish. It was very fun! Then we left Eilat and headed to Kibbutz Lotan where we learned new ways to recycle and used their eco friendly toilets! Then we made our way to Randal Ranch and met the cool man who runs it. Next we headed off to the Bedouin tents! We ate yummy Bedouin food (with our hands!) which was laffa, meat, chicken, and couscous. Then we met a real live Bedouin and drank awesome tea! After that we had basic training army night run by our Israeli staff and saw what it’s like to be in the army. Finally we ended off the night with a bonfire and late curfew. It was a fantastic night to remember- from the star-gazing to sleeping outside!
