On Friday we left Yerushalyim and headed south. We had a long enjoyable bus ride and stopped at Shvil Hasalatim, the salad trail, where we ate lunch and explored their green houses. We got to try their freshly grown vegetables and smell all the herbs. We also saw all the bees and pigeons that they had there. Full of tomatoes and cucumbers, we got back on the bus and drove to the hotel in Mitzpe Ramon where we took pre shabbos pictures in front of the beautiful view. We had Kabbalat Shabbat outside and then headed in for the start of Dovie and Raquel’s bnei mitzvah (that was the shabbos theme)! Afterwards, we had circle time and started to play the game word assassin. After davening we had a learning program where we learned all about different scenarios regarding what you’re allowed and not allowed to do on Shabbos. We had lunch and then a lot of free time with chaburas going on and a walking tour of the beautiful Ramon crater. We ended shabbos with slow shira and havdallah.The night activity was a chagigah for Dovie and Raquel’s bnei mitzvah! We learned a group dance and had a blast! Can’t wait for Eilat tomorrow!
