Today was such an enjoyable day! After davening and breakfast, we rode on the bus to Park Chaverim where we learned about inclusion through the park’s atmosphere. The park was accessible for everyone and so much fun to hang out with our friends and counselors. After lunch in the park we boarded the buses to go to Rami Mieri’s studio in Tel aviv- Yafo where we went and learned about inspirational street art all over Israel and other countries. Then we got to try it out ourselves on the outside walls of the studio. It was a blast! After colorfully decorating the walls we went to the boardwalk on the Tel Aviv beach. There, we got ices and took lots of pictures. Afterwards, we did our favorite pre-Shabbat activity…. grocery shopping!!!! When we finished shopping we went back onto the buses to go back to the hotel for the rest the night. Night activity was a Lip Sync Battle and everyone got into the ruach with choreography and costumes! Later on, we were able to crash a wedding that was happening at the hotel! (With an invite of course). Today was a great way to show how inclusion is everywhere and intertwined in people’s lives. In total, today was a great day and we can’t wait for rest of the trips this summer!
