YBY2: August 2: Tel Aviv Graffiti Tour, Diaspora Museum & Ices on the Beach!

The day started off with an early wake up. We davened, had breakfast, and then loaded the buses to head to Tel Aviv. After a long (and rainy!) bus ride we finally arrived! We had a graffiti tour around the city, and even got to spray paint on vinyl records and a wall ourselves. We were given many stencils and spray paint colors which allowed us to get very creative! We then had lunch on the grass followed by Rafi’s learning program which taught us about the importance of balancing our personal and religious lives. We also started an exciting game of word assassin! We then explored the Diaspora Museum which showed us the accomplishments of all the Jewish leaders. They had fun activities and informative videos for everyone to get involved. We then took a surprise trip to the beach! Some people played in the water and we all got ices and davened mincha. We then went back to the hotel for dinner and a jeopardy night activity. It was a great last Thursday of Yad b’Yad!
