Helloooo YBY19!!! My name is Sara Schochet and I am so excited to be spending the summer with you all! There is nothing quite like YBY and I can assure you that you are in for an unbelievable experience!!!! A little bit about me; I grew up in Teaneck, NJ, and am a proud alumna of Ma’ayanot High School. After Ma’ayanot, I spent a year living in the Old City of Jerusalem studying at Midreshet Harova. I am now a rising senior in the Rutgers University School of Nursing and one year away from being a nurse! My favorite sport is volleyball and I love roller-coasters, water-slides, skiing and sledding.  I can flip my eyelids inside out, so you better watch out or I’ll show you. Cotton candy is my all-time favorite ice cream and Rita’s flavor, but in Israel, Avatiach ices take first place. This will be my 7th summer with Yachad summer programs, and I cannot wait for it to be the best one yet. So excited to meet everyone soon and to spend an amazing and unforgettable summer together!!!
