Hey YBY 2019!! I am sooo excited to meet all of you!!! I know we are going to be best friends but first we have to get to know each other, I’ll go first. My name is Mordy Blau. I was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey and then lived in Israel for a year before moving to Cleveland! I went to Fuchs Mizrachi School and am currently learning in Yeshivat HaKotel for my second year and will be starting YU in the fall. I spent 8 summers at Camp Stone and last summer as a teen advisor at Camp Kaylie and I’m going to be your counselor this summer ??. I know I’ve been speaking for a while but I got some fun facts that I thought you should know before we become best friends! I laugh at almost everything and love making other people laugh ?. I am a diehard chocolate fan and have a sweet tooth for gummies (especially Israeli gummies)! I’m not afraid to take risks in life and to do some crazy things. I even sometimes put the milk in my bowl before I put in the cereal! I love playing sports and I’m a huge Browns and Cavs fan! I love singing and kumzitzing! I can’t get enough of shtick and have some great ideas planned for the summer! One more thing that is very important, I’m probably the best 2k player I know.
