HI YBY ‘19!! My name is Emily Farbowitz and I’m so excited to be with you all this summer! A little bit about me: I am from Teaneck NJ, I went to (Yeshivat) Frisch for high school, spent a gap year in Israel at Midreshet Harova, and I’m currently a Freshman at (Yeshivat) Brandeis studying Psychology (our mascot is a judge, we’re really cool). I have spent the last four summers with Yachad- YBY ‘15 and then three summers with Nesher Yachad! Now for the fun facts about me: A lot of people call me by some variation of my last name (Farb), my favorite food is pretzels, I’m always in the mood to have a kumsitz/tisch, I love texting in CAPS, I always send people gifs, I’m constantly telling dad jokes that aren’t funny, I love quotes, all my clothing is grey and black, and I love to clean (especially vacuum!!!). I love Israel, inclusion, and of course Yachad and I can’t wait to mix all of those together for an amazing summer!!
