Hey Hey YBY 19!! I’m Ellie Blanchard and I’m counting down the days till the summer! I’m so excited to meet and get to know each and every one of you but until then, here are some facts about me. Although I was born and raised on the Upper West Side, for the four years of high school I crossed the bridge to Teaneck to attend Maayanot. After that, I spent a year and a half at MMY and now I’m at Stern College for Women, studying Biology/ Psychology by day and Chassidus by night. This summer will be my 3rd summer on Yad B’Yad (but only second YBY in Israel woot woot) and my 6th summer working for Yachad (Go Morasha Yachad!!). My perfect day would be spent chilling in Tzfat and I absolutely love learning and sharing new music so if you have anything good, send it my way!! I’m also a hardcore fan of potato kugel and dance offs. Here are some things I don’t do: eat meat, drive a car, ride a bike, or sleep over 6 hours. I do like long bus rides though so I’m pumped to use those to iyH travel Israel and have fun with you all! Looking forward to a meaningful summer!
