WATSUP YBY 2019!!!  My name is Elie Kern and I can’t wait to meet everyone on this year’s trip!  Some basic info about me- I’m from Teaneck, New Jersey (the other side).  I went to Nesher and Lavi as a camper and worked at Lavi Yachad for the past 2 amazing summers!  I went to Frisch for high school and spent last year in Yeshivat Lev Hatorah.  I’m now in the University of Maryland studying journalism. NOW FOR THE IMPORTANT STUFF- I love music and I have been playing the saxophone for 10 years.  I played tons of basketball and volleyball in high school, but I’ve definitely gotten pretty rusty at both.  I’m 6’4, but in a super non-intimidating way.  I’ve seen a concerning number of movies and TV shows (mostly comedies), and my favorite shows are Scrubs and Friday Night Lights.  I’ve been to more concerts than anybody I know (probably north of 50 at this point but I’ve lost track).  I love traveling, being in Israel, and meeting new people, which is why I’m so excited for this summer!   To the left is a picture of me eating the greatest sandwich ever.  See everyone soon!
