We started off our third week of Yad B’Yad today (that’s crazy!) with a jam packed day. Our first activity was to an assisted living facility in Jerusalem. We sang, danced, played, did art projects and brought smiles to the residents’ faces. We then got on the buses and went to Tel Aviv where we got lunch and went to the Shuk HaCarmel.
We walked around checking all the shops and buying souvenirs. It was so hot that iced coffee and smoothies were in high demand. After the shuk, we met up with a man named Rami Meiri, who is a street artist. He showed us his gallery and gave us a chance to try some street art ourselves.
We then headed to the beach, and on the way we stopped for ice cream courtesy of the Israeli head staff! At the beach, we got a chance to dip our feet in the Mediterranean Sea, take pictures, and play games.
We came back to the hotel and had dinner. All the girls were really excited because Hadaya came to the hotel. We then played Deal or No Deal Curfew Style, led by Izzy. Overall, it’s been an amazing day and we can’t wait for another amazing day tomorrow!

P.S. Dear Michelle Sacks,
We are so proud to let you know that your wonderful son, Betzalel Yechiel, was such a mitzvah boy today. He shared his grapes with everyone, even though they were really delicious. You should be shepping Nachas
