Good evening everyone,

As some of you might know by now, my name is Simcha Rosenbaum. I have been affiliated with Yachad for 3 going into 4 years. Without yachad I would not know most of you. The staff at yachad are amazing and without them I wouldn’t know as many things as I know now. Over the years I’ve gone on countless shabbatons and made a lot of friends. Before yachad I was shy, I wouldn’t know how to continue a conversation with someone and wouldn’t know what to say. Yachad staff helped me and taught me some valuable skills so that I now know how to make conversation with other people. I went to camp mesorah where I had a nice time being part of yachad. We had a lot of fun activities, I especially loved circle time. Over the course of time that I’ve been in israel with trip 2 I’ve encountered some experiences that will stick with me for a lifetime. One day that sticks out in my mind is the day we went to the kinneret. We divided into groups and built rafts. We worked together and had such a great time doing it. Another day that stuck out for me was when our trip went to Meron and I noticed that all different types of Jews were there. Ones with black hats, ones without and it showed me that it doesn’t matter who you are in life, you can all come together and be one unit.
