Today was an action packed today. Definitely top 8. It started off relatively average, but then it skyrocketed towards awesomeness, when we went to the absorption center. Then we met Ethiopians and heard about their Aliyah story and how the state of Israel helps them with their acclimation process. We then got to play soccer and sing both familiar and new songs with the kids. Then we ate lunch in a cool park with swings and slides the overlooked the beautiful mountains surrounding tzfat Afterwards, we took a tour of Tzfat and learnt about the history and culture. It was very enlightening. We then got to walk through the artist colony. Then we went to the Stam center where we experienced a variety of different activities such as writing our names on parchment paper in kosher claf with Kosher ink. Then we boarded the buses and headed back to Nir Etzion. When we got back we played an exciting game of “minute to win it” led by Rabbi Raphi Cooper. The actual team the won is unclear because team 4 clearly did but there are some complications with that. Overall, it was a legendary day.
